By Vanessa Zhang,

Recently, Civil Aviation Flight University of China (CAFUC), the world’s first MA600 user, received its first full-flight simulator of MA600. The simulator was ordered by CAFUC from Canada’s Mechtronix Co., and finally settled in the Simulator Training Center of CAFUC after four years’ manufacturing and nearly three months’ long-distance transport.

According to the project schedule, the installation and commissioning of the MA600 simulator will be completed in mid-May. After receiving the accreditation from Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), the simulator will officially begin providing training services for the university’s MA600 crew.

CAFUC signed an order with Xi’an Aircraft Industrial Co. (XAC) to purchase two MA600s at the 7th Zhuhai Airshow held in Nov. 2008, becoming the world’s first MA600 user. And in 2011, the two MA600s began to provide training services successively in Luoyang Branch and Guanghan Branch of CAFUC, of which the one in Guanghan Branch was named the “People’s Daily” in the “People’s Daily Campus” activities held in Nov. 2011.

According to the introduction, the simulator training of MA600 can only be carried out in different places until the arrival of the MA600 simulator. And the use of the MA600 simulator will perfect the training links, reduce the training costs, and improve the training efficiency as well as training quality of the university’s high performance training.
